Paranormal Movie (2013) (Heavy Spoof)

This movie is supposed to be bogus, and really is bogus. But I am surprised it did really give me laughs one some scenes and dialogues. First half of the movie, made me sleep, second half, was okay. So if you watch too many spoofs and horror movies, you will dig this movie's punches. If you love only real movies, then this is just a waste of time for you, but it's fun trying something different. :-)

Grave Encounters 2 (Horror)

Found footage films can be really unpredictable, apart from the fact that you suddenly notice something on the camera scene and yes, in the end, they all die. But this movie is a bit different, a dark story and when the horror comes, it comes clenching your gut and stays for long. It scares. Yet, I would not add this to my list of favourite horror films, if anyone cares ;-)

Movie 43 (2013)

Just awesome! A spoof movie with real famous actors! The laughter quotient isnt that great, according to me. Yet it defines "spoofing". Worth a shot, even though better movies are out there.

Compliance (2012) (Drama Thriller)

Yes, it is inspired by true events. It really gets you engrossed, but some of the factors are too stupid and you just wont believe the height of stupidity. So, if you like reality stuff and nudity, it has it, though the story is predictable.

Carrie (2013)

This is a remake of the 1976 movie, seems like a classic horror tale, with popular actors Julianne Moore, a rather strange role, and Chloe Moretz. Carrie is a special girl, or some people will look at tit like a demon. A shy gal with special powers who is bullied horribly, and it gets too enough to hold her back. Brings tears in your eyes if you are a bully, so what you dont have telekinesis. I would have really loved if this movie was carried further with the life of carrie.

Bereavement (2010)

I am going to be totally honest with my opinion, I just watched this movie for the actress. She is worth it, the movie ..well, it aint. It is just a dark horror story with lots of gore and torture. The idea of the insensitivity disease was something different though. If you are a fan of movies like wrong turn, then go for it, otherwise its just better to google the actress for her pics. haha

Stan Helsing(2009) (Spoof)

If you are a fan of modern day spoof movies, this is a must watch!. As you can see in the poster above, all the popular horror characters spoofed! The base line is of Van Helsing and so the name Stan Helsing who is certainly not a legend. This movie is not plain and pointless like some spoof movies out there and it pretty much maintained my interest throughout the movie.

 This is a slow comedy film starring really famous actors. Nowadays, you cant just watch movies with great actors and expect the movie itself to be great. Yet, this movie , although picked up slow, had its fun and "feel good" moments. The story is not so gripping, but if you are a light comedy and romance movie watcher, then this is perfect for you. I have read bad comments about this movie but they were just because people expected too much from Owen Wilson and Zach. So, its upto you, again I'm saying, a "feel-good" movie that didnt quite put me to sleep.

Antisocial(2013) (Action Horror)

Well, I found this movie way better than Pulse. The concept is similar but the colors, the intense thrill, and the feel are definitely better than Pulse. (no offence to Pulse fans, this is just my opinion). Ok, I must admit the acting was not too impressive, but overall, it did its job! If you like intense zombie thrill and action, go for it!
