Left out spoof movies. cus spoof movies are spoof movies. You can get to know by reading my reviews on how good or bad they are. You can also comment and ask.
The above ratings are calculated based on four factors: The 'feel' meaning the vibes that the movie gave while watching it; the immersion factor meaning how much it can get you engrossed; quality of various factors regarding screenplay, acting, etc. and the magnitude of interest when asked to watch it again. According to me, these factors are more than enough, not-gonna-be-an-award-show-here. If you have any questions or suggestions, comment on a post or mail me.
No movie is shitty, its all on our perspectives. So do what you like, have a good time.

It Might Get Loud (2008) (Documentary) (Music)

A documentary starring three legendary rock n roll guitarists. They talk about writing music, their artistic experience and history of rock n roll regarding the essence of music. For all you musicians and artists, this will be a rejuvenating experience for you, I mean it! And for others, I recommend that you think twice before watching it, cus its a documentary, but you might be entertained with the feel and sound of the movie.

Ejecta (2014) (Horror) (Mystery) (Action)

All you horror fans..this SHOULD be in your list!!! Found Footage Horror, Alien mystery, alien action, alien horror, again more horror. Dont go on the look of that guy, he acted better than expected.
Pleasantville (1998)  (Drama) (Comedy)

Unfortunately, I didnt know about this in the 90s but I bet it would have been a hit. Why wont it be? The actors were Toby Maguire and young Reese Witherspoon , not to forget the much loved Paul Walker in a strikingly evergreen story-type plot. I dont even know whether such movies with that class are made these days, even kids movies are so dark and intense today. I caught this movie on TV and told myself, "yes! I will totally watch this! ...Reese Witherspoon!!"

Hello there!
My first review for a Movie Night is just below!
'Rec Night'
Spanish horror with English subtitles, sounds stupid but is actually a hit!
I've tried it! Read my experience in the post below.
[Rec] 2 (2009)                      [Rec] 3: Genesis (2012)          [Rec] 4: Apocalypse (2014)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rec 2: (Horror) (Found Footage)

Ok, first things first! I know the traditional zombie story goes about the living dead suffering in darkness till the judgement day and all, but it would have been better to watch something innovative. I felt so bored that I started thinking this was a mistake, until 'she' showed up! Angela ! (Manuela Velasco )  The undeniably lead character from Rec 1 , I actually clapped at the scene. This really boosted up the interest in the entire Rec story and things heated up in a good way.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rec 3:Genesis (Drama) (Action)

What is this,Twilight? It reminded me of Extraterrestrial (2014) , only that Extraterrestrial was better. This Rec sequel was a typical zombie action movie with lots of love drama. The script totally drifted away from the original, except one scene in which the original infected girl was shown. The plot demanded it maybe, as it is set in a completely different place.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rec 4: Apocalypse (Action) (Thriller)

I totally fell in love with Angela after watching this and with full spark gave this movie a thumbs up! Ok, she was not that great, this is just my usual reaction after totally enjoying a movie: liking the actress. The story turned scientific, which is what I love. It had twists and mystery and some things that will just make you go, "OMG! Come on! Come on! Vaamos!"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, now the reason why I'm still writing further is that I was looking forward to let you guys know whether you can sit with your buddies and call a night a "Rec Night'. People do that, a night in, watching favourite movies, mostly a trilogy or sequels, if you didnt know. The Rec franchise did a great attempt. Watching Rec 3, it turned me off, I decided that Rec Night wasnt a worth. But Rec 1 and Rec 4 did an amazing job, with Rec 2 just a little behind. So I would go for a Rec Night if it was without Rec 3. Again, this is my personal opinion, some people might also enjoy the Rec 3 plot. So its upto you finally to decide. Also I must inform you that finding English subtitles can be a bit of a pain, but you will get it.

Hope my review helps. Comment for questions.
My biggest review yet!

Hansel and Gretel Get Baked (2013)  (Comedy) (Horror)

THIS IS NOT A SPOOF! By the title of the movie, anyone would believe that it might be a spoof of the classic story. But this one has an actual script. Horror with gore in it but the witch character justifies it. Regarding comedy, it is hilarious at several times but only if you are mentally aware about it being a comedy. Make a person watch it without having a clue that it is a comedy, that person might not laugh at all, but would chuckle. Hansel and Gretel classic at the skeleton with weed as its backbone. There is intense action and mystery with some spiking thrills, Overall, I got a good feeling about it while I was watching it, so a thumbs up!

Crawl or Die (2014)

This one will make you feel so claustrophobic at times, cus almost the entire movie revolves around narrow tunnels through which those soldiers try to escape with their package, the only fertile woman, from an alien they dont know much about. It is dark but has thrills and action throughout the movie and will keep you amazed.

[Rec] (2007) (Found Footage Horror) (Spanish)

Yes! It is the original version of quarantine. People say its better than quarantine, so I watched it with English subtitles. And it turned me! It is a gut-clenching horror and was worth the shot. Quarantine and Rec parted ways from their sequels, so I heard. But a THUMBS UP for quarantine 2 also. Now I'm in preparation to watch Rec 2, Rec 3 Genesis and Rec 4 Apocalypse. Let's see what the sequels unfold, whether they maintain the line of quality, or become hopeless like most sequels do.

Abandoned Mine (2012) (Mystery) (Horror) (Adventure)

Right from the start, they start showing how each of those 'friends' die. That will discourage you from watching the rest of the movie, and even till the first half ended I was awfully bored. But then, the second half! The story picked up with a twist and things started to seem more interesting. Although, even the second half didnt clear up much the picture in mind, I gave it a thumbs up cus of the 'Woaaah!!' that sparked up in  my mind in the second half and at the end cus they dont die....
The Mummy Resurrected (2014)

IMDB gave it 1.9 out of 10. The acting is bad, you can make out. Good attempt but still you can make out. The movie could've been more interesting but it didn't give that feel. Honestly, I had to skip few parts as I got so bored. I seriously feel it could've gone way better. To the viewers, if you are an easy-going and light-minded person and have no expectations of having a good time, you may have a good time watching this movie, a bunch of hot girls throughout, a horror historical story, that's it.

Nancy Drew (2007) (Family) ( Comedy) (Mystery) (Action)

This is yet another movie of the classic detective kid Nancy Drew. Emma Roberts, even today she looks pretty much the same. A feel-good movie with twists in the script. Yet I found alot of confusing elements, that somehow left a little bad impression. But you cant expect Sherlock Holmes out of a family Nancy Drew movie, so overall, it was a classic worth a watch.

Earth to Echo (2014) (Drama) (Comedy) (Action)

Look at that alien, thank goodness! Its not a grey, not the usual. The script reminded me of ET (1982) classic movie, only that it is shot in a footage format. This movie had good feels, good laughs, good drama, and I'm sure the chicks will love the cute alien. Worth a shot.
Hotel Inferno (2013) (Action) (Horror)

This movie is so so gross! It is actually like a horror action game with the same screen play, same type of script and feel. I, personally, seriously dont like two things; evil rituals and meaningless gore, this movie has both filled in it thoroughly. I would never recommend this to anyone, although I agree that there are many people who like crazy ass insane blood and violence scenes -->Wrong Turn franchise fans.

Not Fade Away (2012) (Drama)

Apparently, this is a true story. A drama about a not-so-famous musician, which was all a typical story. Typical characters, typical behaviour. Yet, it will give you smiles, create hopes, get you engrossed. I must mention you might not understand a few things in the movie, and if you are that kinda person, then dont go for this movie. I liked it cus Im a musician myself and such typical stories give me the good feels. Also, I must warn you it is slow and silent like a biography, cus it is the same, in a way.

Left Behind (2014) (Action) (Mystery)
Being a Nicolas Cage movie, I expected alot. Action filled with a lot of drama. I loved Chloe, and the typical disaster movie pulses that the movie gave. However, I found it to be incomplete, a really short story that was dragged on for the entire duration of the movie with few action and drama fills.
The Ouija Experiment (2011)
Typical ouija board horror, cant even say it s horror, except a few thrilling scenes. It involved a story which was yet confusing, and seemed just made up for the sake of the movie.

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (2014) (Family) (Comedy) (Drama)

Dont bother memorizing the name, even I had to copy-paste  A feel-good family comedy, with renowned actors Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner. While watching it, you can easily make out the big budget. Definitely worth a watch with family. Yes, it all depends on what you expect from a movie.

Ouija (2014) (Horror) (Thriller)

I didnt expect it to be so fast paced, so thrilling. The script has twists and turns and it gets you so engrossed that by the end of the movie you start to believe you actually loved this movie. The focus is not much on the ouija board but on a different horror tale, so its worth a try.
From The Dark (2014) (Action) (Horror)

This movie is more of an action , no ghost and stuff. Direct action including a couple escaping a creature that cant tolerate light. Do not expect it to be a fairytale, this is a warning. The thumbs up is for the thrilling action.

The Coed and the Zombie Stoner (2014) (Comedy)
"The Asylum presents"..seeing this I convince myself this is going to be a mockbuster.....and it is. Sex, Drugs and the Walking Dead, as it is. Silly comedy, naked chics runnin' around, pointless script, what the heck!  I somehow made it through the movie. If you have little time to spare and are seeking actual entertainment, please don't bother watching this. If you like naked and meaningless comedy, you can try it.
Extraterrestrial (2014) (Horror) (Drama)

The thumbs up is not just for my interest in extraterrestrial studies, but for the intense thrill and drama in this blockbuster. The action was truly entangling and the script was at a fast pace. I just couldn't believe they added some 'love' shit to it too. :-)
The Appearing (2014) (Horror) (Mystery)

ALL MYSTERY AND NO HORROR MAKES THE MOVIE "THE APPEARING". Seriously, cheap thrills dont scare a regular horror watcher. But the thumbs up here is just for the story, the screenplay and the acting. As the movie progressed, it got me more engrossed and was a bit electrifying.
P-51 Dragon Fighter (2014) (Action) (Fantasy)
The concept was thrilling. The script was like one of those all-time favourites, feel-good movies. Yet there was something that gave negative vibes, maybe the acting, or the screenplay. This movie seemed to be a mockbuster, or maybe it is, shouldn't matter until its worth a watch. This movie could've been much much better. Sorry, no thumbs up for you.
It Follows (2014) (Horror, Mystery)
Woah! I wish some naked girl followed me too ..hahaha. An enity that follows you in the form of a naked person, (I know the reason, you'll get it in the movie). This movie had an interesting concept and I am so honoured to say this, "Guns seem to work!!"
Best funniest dialogue: Guy: Wait! Do you see that girl right behind you??
                                     Everyone: YES!!
                                      Guy: ohh...great.
After this the movie seemed awfully slow or maybe it was just my mind that got distracted, very quiet movie though, very quiet. Sex and nudity and horror, well this usually gets you up for any movie, I should warn you that you might get a little bored though.

The Babadook (2014) (Horror) (Comedy too I must add)

This movie should be the next 'Annabelle+Conjuring'. Sadly, it wasn't that active. When I watched Conjuring or Annabelle, the story was too intense, with lots of elements. This movie was a bit low on the number of interesting elements and seemed incomplete. Yet, I would not take back the first statement of this review. It was like a classic, had drama, works for me to be called "a watch-able movie". Not to forget, I laughed alot at a couple of scenes.

Leprechaun:Origins (2014) (Creature Action)

I couldnt get some parts of the script, but overall I found it to be a classic thriller with creature-action. You wont get bored, that I can say. But if you are a movie buff, you will find the entire thing predictable.
EuroTrip (2004) (Comedy) (Teen Romance)

Teen Comedy lovers, this is something you'll cherish. Like all teen comedies, it had that cheap meaningless nudity but it was a good script. I entirely enjoyed watching it, the dialogues and acting are actually hilarious. A feel-good, light comedy movie.

The Interview (2014) (Comedy) (Action)

Seth Rogan and James Franco, you have really started to do a remarkable job in comedies. I really enjoyed watching this movie. The script, the action, all impressive. But I dont like the fact that these guys are obsessed with gay-anal action and included the same in the movie, that was a turn off for me. Keeping that aside, I actually said, "awsum!!!" and I talked about this movie among friends.
