A Flying Jatt (2016) (Hindi) (Family)

I dont understand why people are so annoyed by this movie that they've been calling it a torture, guess people just go with what others are following. I admit many scenes were copied from other superhero movies and many scenes could've been much better, but the effects were pretty realistic (to an acceptable level) and even the script was a real simple one, I mean its a Bollywood movie not a DC/Marvel flick.
A decent family movie with a simple yet significant message. A thumbs up from my side and appreciate Bollywood for making movies in different areas without losing that Desi touch.
Max (2015) (Family)

A classic tale. Simple yet emotional storyline.
Pan (2015) (Fantasy) (Adventure) (Family)

The best part was Smells Like Teen Spirit and Blitzkrieg Bop. The beginning of Peter Pan's story. I watched it twice, not for Cara Delevingne, but because it was a classic tale.
Against The Sun (2014) (History) (Drama) (Survival)

Ah! This reminds me I forgot to watch the second half. Its a true story you must respect. You-must-respect.
Trainwreck (2015) (Comedy) (Romance)

Funny.Didnt Enjoy.My bad.Oh you didnt suck, I just didnt enjoy.Thanks.Over.

Infini (2015) (Sci-Fi, Drama, Horror )

This one gave out the vibes of Alien franchise (I dont usually put the trademark logo cus I dont think its needed here). Infini can start out a franchise itself.
Hate Story 3 (2015) (Hindi) (Crime) (Action)

Anything can happen in Hindi movies, which is why I love them! This one still gave me the vibe of Wild Things franchise.
Wanderlust (2012) (Comedy) (Romedy :Romantic Comedy) (Dramedy: Drama Comedy)

Enjoyable, for people like me, a little slow though but that was okay. Im just being a tough judge here.
Badmaashiyaan (2015)  (Hindi) (Comedy)

'Shenanigans' should be the English word for it, don't know how it applies though. I didnt understand the point of the script and I think that was the point actually, to have no point. Glad that I didnt sleep through it, I watched it!! Yes!! I have superpowers!!
Cellular (2004) (Action) (Drama) (Adventure)

Many might already be knowing of this one, would like to still give this a mention though. A classic one, I still have it.
In The Heart Of The Sea (2015) ( Adventure , History ,  Drama )

This is my confession : I expected alot from this movie. The actors, the script all sounds so intriguing. But all got lost somewhere in the screenplay. I couldn't actually get into the story well. It was just a few points away from becoming an evergreen movie that would be remembered for decades.
The Visit (2015) (Horror, Footage)

Disturbing! Really! The script is again interesting as expected but the screenplay kinda lost my thumbs up. I would recommend this to horror fans, not for children though.

The Last Five Years (2014) (Musical Drama)

Anna Kendrick took musicals way too seriously! This movie lacked a good storyline, good acting, good SONGS (except one: The Schmuel Song) . What happened to you oh poor Anna!
The Woman in Black 2 (2014) (Horror)

SCARIER THAN CONJURING 2!! NUN VALAK HAS A COMPETITION!! Still. to all the horror fans, dont expect much. Yes, but if you want to have a horror night with your buddies and think you need something better than the conjuring 2 movie then you know this is the one.

Ted 2 (2015) (Comedy)

Ted is back! The same old Ted, just married. I have watched this twice and even though the script is silly including the joke punches, its just fun to watch.
No Escape (2015) (Action, Drama)

It's been a different experience watching Owen Wilson do a serious role, This story is a survival story of an American family amidst a foreign nation revolt. When the running starts, there is non-stop action and I dont think in reality any family would be able to survive this and get away, but makes you think so and prepares you mentally. Not many movies out there from which we can actually learn something.
Girl House (2014) (Horror, Gore)

This movie is both hot and horror, not scary horror, this one's action horror. I actually like the storyline although I must say some scenes, well, most of the scenes seemed really silly. There was still 'motivation' to keep you from dozing off so it was pretty much enjoyable.
The Road Within (2014) (Dramedy: Drama, Comedy)

I didnt actually expect it to be so good. If you're a dramedy person and want to watch a good movie with an amazing feel, then this is the one you must watch! Superb acting and simple yet interesting storyline.
That's My Boy (2012) (Comedy, Drama)

A typical Adam-Sandler-feel-good-comedy, I consider this to be a whole different genre now. The movie's fun even though this genre is usually a slow pace comedy. I would watch it again in the future and hence the thumbs up!

Ki & Ka (2016)    (Hindi) (Comedy) (Drama)

This time, I'm reviewing a flick directly while watching it right on the big screen, well's its finished now. You might probably be thinking that this movie doesn't belong here, but, I am pretty sure this movie will be watched, talked about, commented and reviewed about, and then forgotten, and no one will remember what this movie actually wanted to say, so why not put it here now itself?

Well, if my fellow 'watchers' around me here loved it, I would say they just expect movies to offer petty mainstream Indian topics and laugh about it, but I could see they were desperate to leave. I still feel the constant ringing of "Ki Ka Ki Ka Ka Ki.." in my head.

I must say the 'Jaya Bachchan Amitabh Bachchan' part was totally worth it and so was the ending message. Movies are not just about the message, but about how that message influences us along with entertaining us.

So here it comes, Ki and Ka did entertain me, a fun dramedy about a common Indian topic which people will surely debate on. Glad to know that such movies are still made in Bollywood and thanks for just stopping me every now and then from yelling, "Oh, Gimme a break!". Just for the concept, I'm giving it a thumbs up!

Bangistan (2015)   (Hindi) (Comedy)

Not a disappointment at all! Seems silly and like a cliche at the beginning, but then it takes a turn towards a light comic story, contains a very crucial message. You can laugh and smile during the entire movie.

Matchstick Men (2003) (Drama) (Comedy)

After this movie, I started respecting Nicolas Cage as an actor, terrific acting! The script was also something that tells you, you chose the right movie!

Z for Zachariah (2015) (Drama)

Things were good, they were sweet (cus of Margot Robbie). But they were too slow, or it was just me who lacks concentration.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E (2015) (Mystery) (Action) (Comedy) (Drama)

A light comic entertainer with a james bond script.

Everest (2015) (Biography) (Drama)

Okay its a true story, but you should also know that everything is way too predictable, I mean everest stories are just too similar. But looking at the title, you know whether you love such movies or no.

Gone Girl (2014)  (Drama) (Crime)

The movie was mind screwing! There are such twisting elements that just make your head go crazy. Superb acting! The script, I feel, didnt turn in the proper direction otherwise it wouldve been just great.

Mad Max : Fury Road (2015) (Action)

First of all I should let you know that the movie is surrounded by disgusting elements. It reminded of the game Borderlands and the post apocalyptic scenario was meaningful but also stupid. The drama and action quotient was remarkable though.
Creep (2014) (Horror) (Found Footage)

It didnt take me long to understand what the movie was about, and i must admit, it was a bit different and unusual concept used within a found footage horror. The scares were a disappointment, being too silly. Yet it was a pressing script and marks a new age of found footage horror.
